Symposium Competition  

Stage 2 (early-Nov to end-Nov):

  • 1. Write 6-8 pages paper supervised by speakers
  • 2. Present their 6-8 pages paper by November
  • 3. Best 2 teams are selected for the next stage
  • 4. Competition Requirement

Stage 3 (Apr. 2014):

  • The 2 teams are speakers for the next symposium


Stage 1 (Completed):

  • 1. Team up HKUST PG/UG + NJU UG
    • 6 students per group
    • At least 1 student from HKUST, 1 student from NJU
  • 2. Attend the symposium
    • Learn the latest knowledge
    • Pick a topic from the speakers
  • 3. Come up with possible solution/ improvement
    • Group discussion
    • Background research
    • Make 7 Slides to sum up the work
    • Your slides have to follow the following template:Download
    • Read carefully the instructions written in the template to prepare your presentation and slides
  • 4. (Next Day, 4-Oct in Cyberport) Presentation
    • 9:30a to 3:00p (Included transportation, visit and lunch)
    • A penal judge with PPT
    • 6-8 teams will selected for the next stage
